WHAT IS YIN YOGA?

Yin yoga blends the ancient roots of yoga with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Meridian Theory to create a balanced, grounding practice. Through long-held postures, intentional stillness, and breath awareness, you're able to slow down, feel into your body, and support the natural movement of energy.

This practice is accessible for all ages and offers profound benefits. Physically, yin nourishes the joints and connective tissues, improving mobility while reducing pain and tension. Emotionally and energetically, it provides space to process your lived experience and cultivate greater ease, clarity, and flow in both body and mind.

WHY YIN?

Yin represents the feminine, inward, and still side of life. In an overstimulated culture, this practice offers a soothing balm for physical, mental, and emotional strain. Yin provides a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect with the parts of ourselves we often overlook. Through long, supported holds and intentional rest, this practice naturally helps the nervous system shift out of survival mode and into states of ease, receptivity, and deep rest.
